Indymedia is a collective of independent media organizations and hundreds of journalists offering grassroots, non-corporate coverage. Indymedia is a democratic media outlet for the creation of radical, accurate, and passionate tellings of truth.

Inquiring minds ask: Is Indymedia really a COINTELPRO front? (This means is Indymedia really an intelligence operation sponsored by the US government.)

If you have ever been to a large protest in the United States since the early 1990s chances are very good you've seen Indymedia prominently heralding their support for free speech. Indymedia people haven't been holding signs saying 'complete news articles only can be published here'. Rather, they've held up and displayed signs confirming their unmitigated support of distributing ideas in order to preserve democracy.

Flash forward to today. If you post an article analyzing the TV video footage from 9/11/01 you risk increasing risk of Indymedia censorship. So far no Indymedia 'collective member' has replied to polite queries from this author asking why news articles about the 911 Hoax are brutally hidden or removed from their servers.

Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, DC, Seattle and San Francisco Indymedia Centers: ruthlessly censoring the news blog. It is now impossible to post 'News Junkie Scott's' news blog there.

Not only is DC Indymedia ruthlessly censoring the news blog, but also any images that appear in their media gallery that refer to the 911 Hoax.

New York, Philly, Portland IMC: monitoring all new posts to prevent either this news blog or an article that refers to the 911 Hoax from hitting their newswire.

Philadelphia IMC: they changed their software to prevent this news blog from ever hitting their newswire.

Conclusion

How about Indymedia's ruthless censorship against the 911 Hoax! Not bad for a website which has been ubiquitous at every major protest in the US for the last ten years, touting its unconditional support for free speech!

Indymedia is a collossal betrayal, one of the greatest perfidies in human history. Too bad the American people haven't awaken to this fact yet.
