Another
viewpoint, broadcast by CNN and said to be "amateur video",
shows a plane crashing into the South Tower from a perspective east of
the WTC. A similar view
was broadcast by CBS. A close-up from
another CNN video from the same general perspective contains the frame on the
left. A comparison between it and a photograph of a Boeing 767-222 (i.e.,
Flight UA 175) indicates that the tail fins and fuselages are dramatically
different. Each of these videos from the east shows the same tail fin on the
plane.
Another oddity of the eastern footage is that the fireball seems to originate
a few floors too high. Lastly, what was the
object which left the South Tower? It doesn’t seem like the nose.
